About the role
About Nscale
Nscale is a global hyperscaler engineered for AI infrastructure and the engine for superintelligence. Our ability to build and scale exceptional teams globally depends on creating a seamless, supportive experience for every employee we hire and relocate. Immigration is not just a process — it’s a pivotal life moment.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mobility Specialist to own the day-to-day delivery of mobility support for our US employee population. You will manage relocations, assignments, and business travel support in a fast-moving, still-evolving environment where priorities shift and the playbook is still being written. This is a hands-on operational role with the potential to expand into supporting additional locations and regions as Nscale’s footprint grows.
What you'll be doing
•
Own Mobility Operations: Manage end-to-end mobility casework for the US population, including relocations, transfers, and assignments. You will oversee mobility allowance requests via our ticketing system and partner with mobility vendors on case initiation, tracking, and resolution.
•
Act as a Trusted Advisor: Serve as the primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners. You will provide clear, practical guidance to hiring managers and leaders, navigating ambiguity with sound judgment and keeping cases moving efficiently.
•
Drive Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with the US Immigration Specialist to ensure mobility and immigration casework move in lockstep for shared employees. You will proactively flag risks or bottlenecks and bring pragmatic solutions to the table.
•
Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Provide empathetic, clear, and timely guidance to employees navigating sensitive, high-stakes moves.
•
Build the Program: Apply and help refine mobility tracking systems, policies, and processes as the program matures. You will contribute on-the-ground feedback to help improve playbooks for future expansion and M&A activity.
•
Analyze & Report: Support KPI reporting, cost analysis, and employee feedback loops to measure and continuously improve program effectiveness.
About You
•
Experience: 4+ years of mobility casework experience with a strong focus on the US, supporting employee populations and cross-border relocations.
•
Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
•
Expertise: Strong working knowledge of US relocation, assignment, and business travel compliance considerations.
•
Agility: Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments without a fully defined process.
•
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain sound judgment under pressure.
•
Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to build strong, close working relationships with immigration counterparts and cross-functional stakeholders.
•
Growth Mindset: An openness to taking on additional locations or regions within your scope as the business grows.
Nice to have
•
Experience working alongside an in-house Immigration Specialist or team.
•
Exposure to mobility outside the US (e.g., UK, EMEA, APAC) or interest in growing into a broader regional remit.
•
Experience in the data center, infrastructure, or technical workforce sectors.
•
Experience managing mobility vendors or EOR providers.
•
Familiarity with global immigration frameworks and the intersection of mobility and immigration.
•
Strong experience with data reporting and program metrics.
