About the role
ABOUT CORRIDOR
Software development is becoming autonomous. The fastest teams already work this way, and at Corridor, we are leading the way on secure development as the rest of the industry follows.
Security tools were designed for a world where a person wrote the code and a person reviewed it. That's changing quickly. Corridor is securing software factories. We are the security solution for software that builds itself at every level of autonomy. We are preventing vulnerabilities as agents write code, and guiding teams to help decide what's safe to ship.
We're a small, talented team, led by Jack Cable (Former CISA - Secure by Design), Ashwin Ramaswami (Former CISA, Stanford, and Schmidt Futures) and Alex Stamos (Former CISO of Facebook, Yahoo, SentinelOne).
Corridor is backed by Conviction, with a $25M Series A led by Felicis, and our customers include ElevenLabs, Lovable, Mercor, and Langchain.
THE ROLE
As Founding Product Designer, you'll own how Corridor's product works and feels. You'll go deep with the developers and security teams who use us, turn what you learn into product decisions, and ship the interfaces that make a genuinely complex problem feel manageable. This is a 0→1 product role with direct impact on product quality and adoption, and it reports directly to the CTO.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own end-to-end product design: research, flows, interaction, and UI for how Corridor works. You will work directly with engineers and be accountable for how the platform actually feels in production
- Talk directly with customers, run user interviews, and translate insights into product decisions
- Design experiences that make a complex security product feel intuitive
- Build and maintain our design system and component library that make our product feel coherent. You will prototype and build your own work in code.
- Raise the craft bar across the company. You will make the case for quality in a room full of engineers who move fast
- Work directly with the founders, own ambiguous problems, and move autonomously
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Portfolio of shipped product work — flows, systems, and interfaces you took from ambiguity to launch
- Hands-on technical ability: technical fluency to build what you design, ability to write code with or without AI
- Strong product intuition and taste: you think about user needs before being asked
- Ability to translate complex, technical products into clear and delightful interfaces
- Comfort talking to users directly and turning conversations into design decisions
- Strategic thinker who moves fast: you ship iteratively and learn from users
- An eye for craft and consistency, and the judgment to apply a visual system well. You have strong opinions about interface quality and can articulate why.
NICE TO HAVE
- Security, developer tools, or AI codegen background
- Startup experience building a product from zero
- Strong design systems or frontend engineering background
- Familiarity with AI and how design impacts trust in AI products
- Brand or visual identity experience — useful, though not the core of this role
